College Intern - R&D Product Mechanical Design (6 Months)

Description -

What a College Intern - R&D Product Mechanical Design does at HP:

  • Work with R&D team on designing portions of engineering solutions for printer hardware, electronics enclosures, and production tooling based on established engineering fundamentals and following development technology practices and guidelines.

  • Document the design process, iterations, and test analytics.

  • Use simulation software to understand the design robustness

  • Going through the design process from design intent to actual prototype.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • Currently pursuing a Degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Excellent analytical thinking, project management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Fundamental knowledge of mechanical product design.

  • Able to commit to a 5-6 months internship, starting in Jan 202
