Job Description Summary:

This position will work directly with Women's Health Leadership team to provide designated clinical unit(s) with educational support, including needs assessments, execute on project work within the care site in the areas of process improvement, quality improvement, evidence based practice and communication. Functions as a leader, practitioner, educator, consultant and researcher. Provides standardized education in area of Perinatal expertise as well as general education including but not limited to orientation, annual competency assessment, regulatory, accreditation and certification. Assists in the design of education based on educational standards, evidenced based practice and OhioHealth policy.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's Degree (Required)

Clinical nursing expertise in obstetrics or women’s health commensurate with the patient acuity and services provided. Knowledge of accreditation, regulatory and Certification requirements. Current member of Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses. Knowledge of current trends in obstetrics and evidence based nursing practices. 3 - 5 years Women’s Health Experience ; 2+ years of recent Experience in education-adult education development, knowledge, concepts, teaching. Strong communication skills. Excellent presentation skills
