The Part-Time Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing safe and courteous transportation for customers to and from the dealership, ensuring a positive customer experience. This role also involves assisting with vehicle logistics and maintaining a clean and well-functioning shuttle vehicle.

Essential Duties:

  • Provide prompt and friendly shuttle service to customers, ensuring they reach their destinations safely and on time.

  • Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with all customers, addressing their needs and concerns with respect and efficiency.

  • Regularly inspect the shuttle vehicle to ensure it is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition. Report any issues or required maintenance to the Service Manager.

  • Maintain accurate records of shuttle trips, including mileage, destinations, and any incidents that occur during transport.

  • Assist with the movement and organization of dealership vehicles as needed, including parking, cleaning, and preparing vehicles for customer delivery.

  • Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure the safety of passengers and the shuttle vehicle.

  • Keep the Service Manager and other relevant staff informed of any delays, issues, or changes to the shuttle schedule.

  • Work closely with the service team to coordinate shuttle schedules and ensure efficient service operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Must have a valid driver's license

  • Demonstrated customer service skills

  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information

  • Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles

  • Ability to operate an automobile
