What you’ll be doing

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is part of the Global HR Technology Team, with specific responsibility for supporting and advancing Arrow’s usage of HR technology solutions.  This position will be responsible for providing advanced support to HR Technology System Administrators and global employees as well as performing small system changes and acting as a point of escalation for global HR Technology System Administrators. Duties will include complex issue tracking, resolution, and documentation; process documentation, change management, communication; and system configuration. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide day to day support for complex HR technology solutions including, but not limited to, researching, and resolving problems, unexpected results, or process flaws.
  • Provide support to HR Technology System Administrators and facilitate escalation to higher level Analysts as needed.
  • Evaluate system change requests to optimize Arrow’s global usage of existing HR technology solutions (e.g. Workday, ServiceNow, Cornerstone ) in order to enhance operations and user experience.
  • Manage and implement small system Change Requests following HR Technology’s change management and delivery processes.
  • Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy.
  • Work with other internal resources to develop user procedures and guidelines and documentation. Work with other teams to develop and train internal clients on new processes/functionality and ensure training materials are in place for new hires.
  • Perform mass data uploads into Workday utilizing EIB processes.

What We Are Looking For

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 years HR Technology experience preferred with direct responsibility in the areas of HR systems administration or maintenance and system configuration.
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a closely related field.
  • Aptitude for working with HRIS.
  • Experience working with Workday is Required. Experience supporting or configuring ServiceNow, Cornerstone, or SharePoint is an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • Experience using problem solving methodologies and structured process analysis.
  • Advanced level Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple and varied priorities simultaneously and deliver within defined deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Highly effective in a team environment.
