We are looking for you to join our team as a Pricing Analyst based out our Sunnyvale, CA Campus​. Flexible work arrangements may be available for this role depending upon identified business needs.

What You’ll Get to Do

  • The Pricing Analyst will lead Pricing activities within the MLS Aftermarket business group in Sunnyvale, CA. The analyst will directly report to the Pricing and Estimating Manager within the Marine Systems Business Unit and will be responsible for completing all tasking provided by the MLS Aftermarkets Program Manager.
  • The Pricing Analyst supports various departmental business management and operations functions.  They interact with personnel and management at all levels; interfacing and coordinating with other business management personnel on a daily basis.
  • The Pricing Analyst will develop, analyze, evaluate, coordinate, prepare, and support cost proposals to government and commercial customers, including reviewing Requests for Proposals (RFP) and proposal documents for compliance to customer specifications and adherence to company policy.
  • The Pricing Analyst will provide interpretation of RFP requirements and ensure Northrop Grumman Estimating System compliance, ensure FAR/DFAR and Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliance of proposals, and support proposals through the NAR/ICE and C101 corporate approval process.
  • The Pricing Analyst will provide reviews of all estimates prior to delivery and review by senior management, prepare and present costs estimates to management, customer representatives and government audit agencies. They will support audit requests, fact-finding, and negotiation discussions and the program budget baseline process.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration (Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, etc.) or Business adjacent degree (Mathematics, Risk Management) from an accredited institution with a minimum of 3 years of relevant financial work experience OR a Master's degree in business administration (Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, etc.) or Business adjacent degree (Mathematics, Risk Management) from an accredited institution with a minimum of 1 years of relevant financial work experience.
  • Willing to consider 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • General Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, TINA and other Government procurement regulations as they pertain to bid/costing proposals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Pro Pricer
  • Experience in bidding to different contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, CPAF, T&M).
  • General knowledge and competence in the concepts, principles and standard practices in costing and pricing.
  • Experience and understanding of statistical analysis and limitations thereof (sample size implications, statistical power, forecast error, etc.)
  • Prior experience working and reviewing Basis of Estimates (BOEs)

Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
