Simulation is essential to Zoox’s mission. Zoox uses simulation to develop our driving software, validate safety, and analyze our real-world performance. We are looking for engineers with strong coding skills and exceptional design and implementation skills at the system and component level. You will be helping create scenario generation tools that blur the line between real and synthetic, closing the gap between real driving and hand-authored scenarios. Together, we’ll build a highly-scalable automated architecture used by mission assurance and autonomy engineers to continuously improve the safety and reliability of our robots.
Compensation
here are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary will range from $160,000 - $225,000. A sign-on bonus may be part of a compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
