The Krakow Camera Firmware team is seeking a Technical Manager who will oversee a Scrum team's technical and managerial aspects throughout the end-to-end implementation and maintenance of selected smart camera features and modules.
Responsibilities include:
Contribute to the team's technical backlog by creating designs, implementations, and testing plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and ensure alignment with company objectives.
Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of talented engineers (7-9 people).
Develop people and the team through planning, coaching, challenging assignments, feedback, and support.
Identify knowledge gaps and assist employees in creating plans to address them.
Define standard metrics and utilize them to report the current status of ongoing initiatives.
Experience in leading people as a manager or technical lead.
Proficient hands-on expertise in modern C++ (ideally in embedded systems).
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities, identify risks/issues, formulate recommendations, and drive sound decisions that deliver results.
Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
English language proficiency that allows efficient communication.
Education at the college/university level in a technical field (Engineering / IT).
