RSM is seeking business-minded individuals to join our Business Applications Consulting (BA) practice. Our BA Practice works with our internal consulting executive leadership teams to achieve their business objectives through innovative solutions that align people, processes, and technology. As an associate, you will receive mentoring from our experienced team and have access to a variety of technology and training to jump start your career.

You will be exposed to several aspects of our Product, Strategy & Training Practice, including:  

  • Engaging with internal leadership to ensure business objectives are aligned with industry strategy
  • Business solutions and best practices  
  • Consulting process, tools, and methodologies  
  • Leveraging technology to drive business operations efficiencies  

Other responsibilities may include:  

  • Work with internal industry teams to capture business requirements  
  • Decompose high-level business and user requirements into functional and technical requirements  
  • Design and develop within the D365 platform to create solutions to meet industry requirements
  • Work with internal development and quality teams to validate product meets Microsoft and RSM best practice and standards  
  • Task management and execution  
  • Assist in streamlining existing processes from an end user experience
  • Ensuring delivered products fulfill design requirements
  • Adopting and learning new technologies  
  • Analyze internal tools and identify functional gaps
  • Troubleshooting business application issues  
  • Utilizing a structured project delivery methodology
  • Working and innovating within the Product, Strategy & Training methodology  
  • Building successful cross industry and application team relationships  

Basic Qualifications:  

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other technical discipline
  • Intelligent, motivated, and competitive with a “roll-up-the-sleeves” and “get the job done” attitude  
  • Strong work and/or internship experience  
  • Strong business judgment and common sense  
  • An analytical approach to problem solving  
  • Initiative, creativity, and a passion to deliver results that make a difference  
  • Well-rounded individual with varied interests and experience  
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills (outgoing and personable), attention to details, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Thrive on working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively  
  • Effective when working independently and in team environments  
  • Receptive to feedback  
  • Desire to work in the technology industry with a growing company  
  • Eagerness to contribute    

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA  (for entry level associates)
  • Strong judgment, issues management, and problem analysis techniques  
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, time management, and prioritization skills  
  • Basic understanding of business processes and concepts in process redesign  
  • Relevant, hands-on work-related experience working with ERP/CRM systems and/or in a product management environment

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
