Position Summary

Provides management and financial analysis of department/clinical/research support operations.

Job Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages accounting services within department including budgets, financial reports and analysis.
  • Develops financial models, projections and forecasts for business management functions such as staffing levels, teaching costs, clinical service projections, affiliated hospital and managed care operations.
  • May manage support staff operations and coordinates financial billing requirements and reports.
  • Reviews and recommends operational policies/procedures.
  • Provides support to office functions as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of billing procedures, business and billing software applications and financial analysis techniques.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Effective abilities to prioritize workload.
  • Effective organization skills.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and three years years relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.

Salary Range

$58,400.00 - $99,700.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
