The Director, Sales reports to the VP, Sales and will be responsible for selling to pharmaceutical and biotech companies, specifically patient access services including Hub, PAP, Nursing Services and Field Reimbursement Manager Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Be an integral part of the team of hunter sales professionals for new customer acquisition, including establishment of territories and quotas.
  • Achieve team sales targets and KPIs.
  • Support sales team in providing solutions to client needs.
  • Report weekly sales forecast and activities to sales leadership.
  • Follow sales processes, methodologies, and best practices for the team.
  • Develop quotes and proposals.
  • Maintain accurate records and log all activities in our Salesforce customer relationship management system.
  • Create and execute specific strategy for market penetration and revenue growth.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences and networking.
  • Establish and grow partnerships to expand market reach.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competition, and market developments to continuously update sales strategies.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Equivalent education and experience in lieu of degree considered.
  • 4-5+ years sales experience selling services in patient access to pharma manufacturers
  • Equivalent education and experience in lieu of degree considered.
  • Advanced industry knowledge in patient access.
  • Excellent qualifying, closing and negotiation skills.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic business plans.
  • Must be motivated to lead clients, build consensus and ensure improvement totheir business.
  • Excellent negotiation skills: direct face to face negotiating experience with major clients; strong presentation and financial acumen skills.
