Product Manager Content - Biology & Biomedical (Fixed Term Contract)

About our Team
The portfolio includes Embase, a mature biomedical literature solution that helps customers improve literature monitoring for drug/device adverse events and accelerate evidence-based clinical decisions, and EmBiology – a newly launched product to support drug discovery. The Embase and EmBiology Product team consists of 5 members who focus on specific use cases and customer segments while maintaining a strong customer- and commercial-focus.
About the Role
The Product Manager, Biomedical Content, will use excellent communication and collaboration skills and a detail-oriented mindset. They will effectively manage Embase and EmBiology content production. Working closely with product, operations, and technology teams, they will promote clear and respectful communication within the team. They will also engage with other stakeholders to ensure content quality and indexing.
Responsibilities
Tracking content production, including quality of content and indexing
Working with process partners to investigate and resolve any completeness issues
Communicating information about content and statistics to internal and external stakeholders and customers and address any content-related questions
Driving content innovation by investigating value to the customer and ensuring clear requirements and prioritisation of backlog/alignment with multiple stakeholders
Preparing documentation and monitoring for new content production pipelines
Requirements
Have studied in the scientific domain connected to life/medical sciences (Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, etc.)
Experience working in an online database-related role, with a focus on content production and/or quality
Be an excellent collaborator and team player who is proactive when addressing complex challenges and identifying areas for improvement
Have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to successfully drive projects forward in a matrix environment
