Position summary:

To provide administrative support and coordination of the day-to-day Human Resources operations.

Educational requirements:  

Four-year college degree preferred. In lieu of degree, equivalent experience will be considered.

High school diploma / GED required.

Skills and experience:

Proven experience in HR related discipline, events coordination or large-scale administrative support required

Proven ability to always maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism required

Effective, professional communication skills: verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal

Effective prioritization, multi-tasking and organizational skills

Must be proactive, resourceful, and flexible in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of business office and administrative clerical operations

Computer literacy (i.e., Workday, Microsoft applications)

Essential duties:

Assist associates (walk-up traffic or scheduled appointments) including but not limited to:

Workday access and navigation

Building access and ID cards 

Safety glass vouchers

Kiosk log-on and navigation

Coordinate and administer various human resources processes as assigned:

Maintain office supplies and make HR purchases

Manage / reconcile department Procurement Card

Generate department purchase orders

Monitor suggestion boxes throughout Troup County

Distribute pay advises weekly

General office duties including but not limited to mailroom coordination

Assist team to plan and execute annual, quarterly, weekly and as-needed employee relations events and activities

Maintain housekeeping

Comply with safety rules

Comply with environmental regulations

Be aware of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)

Perform other duties as assigned

Physical demands:  

Customary office. Some Lifting Required (up to 40 lbs.)

Work environment: 

Office environment.   Non-climate controlled manufacturing environment.

May be required to work at either LaGrange or West Point locations.

Frequent interruptions.
