About the Role  

Overview

We’re looking for a Project Manager to play a central role in taking Ogilvy One’s business unit to new levels of business growth, client delight and creative innovation.  

The Ogilvy One’s business is focussed on the creation, building and scaling of a client’s data-driven, technology-enabled interactions with its audiences. This includes, but is not limited to CRM & loyalty, data, web/app design & build, content delivery, and ecommerce. Unlike many of our competitors in this space, who think ‘technology first’, we start with the customer and are obsessed with infusing a brand’s unique emotional connection into every experience we create. Our creative firepower positions us well to deliver on this promise – and makes it a lot more fun to work on! 

Our PMs manage technical projects of all types through every stage of development, from idea to design to completion. They will work with teams of talented strategists, creative, user experience designers, engineers, data scientists and other cross-functional team members to build easy-to-use and effective advertising, commerce and consumer experiences via mobile and website applications for various client portfolios across the agency.

Who You Are:

  • Drive and manage client relationships. Develop success plans for clients that outline their critical success factors, metrics for success, potential issues and provide recommendations on digital best practices.
  • Collect client briefs and requirements for new projects and oversee internal delivery teams to ensure quality standards and client satisfaction are
  • Act as a subject matter expert and drive the adoption and enablement of customer’s investment in their MarTech platform. Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews to share marketing insight and industry best
  • You play a key role in the agency to help optimise our financial forecasting, delivery methodologies, engineering sprint planning, budgeting, project planning & scheduling and resource allocation.

How PMs will help enable and drive growth for our clients and our business:

  • Own project plans with delivery team, monitor task completion, and achieve project milestones
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project scopes and effectively apply Agile or Waterfall project methodology and
  • Prepare for customer engagement reviews on project status and follow quality assurance procedures
  • Coordinate with the finance team tracking project expenses and invoicing activities.
  • Own the project budgets to manage costs and deliverables as well as staffing resources
  • Effectively present and justify SoW, including timelines, budgets, resource plans and general delivery ecosystems (integrations and partnerships)
  • Identify potential project risks and developing contingency plans

Required experience, skills and professional attributes of a PM:

  • Proven experience in program/project management, with client facing industry experience managing projects such as websites/application design & build, CRM & loyalty, data, ecommerce and digital campaigns
  • Ability to handle multiple, high-priority projects in a demanding environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to deeply understand customer needs and navigate to successful solutions. Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese are mandatory.
  • Certification in PMP or PRINCE2 with at least 2 years of experience in managing marketing technologies is a plus
  • Experience in customer journey designs and writing business and functional requirements
  • Ability to apply creative and analytical thinking and provide solutions in an always dynamic work
  • Positive attitude is a must and a desire to grow within an emerging
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for a junior position.
