As a Senior Staff Industrial Designer on Stryker’s Digital Robotic and Enabling Technology (DRE) team, you will transform insights into innovative design concepts, creating compelling visuals and prototypes that shape the future of medical technology.

This is a hybrid role based in Weston, Florida. You’ll work on-site an average of 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely on other days.

What you will do

  • Evaluate new opportunities and communicate insights to key stakeholders.
  • Conduct research, gather insights, and integrate findings into design concepts.
  • Create journey maps, sketches, and prototypes to visualize ideas and solutions.
  • Plan and lead workshops to synthesize research and inspire new ideas.
  • Create design materials that communicate vision, strategy, and value.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide concepts from idea to reality.
  • Present ideas confidently, explaining design decisions to key stakeholders.
  • Support the development of innovative products aligned with business goals.
     

What you need

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design or related design discipline
  • Minimum of 6 years of industrial design work experience, user experience, or related concept to production design roles
  • Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional industrial design skills and creativity
  • Proficiency in design tools for sketching, prototyping, and high-fidelity renderings. (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Pro E, SolidWorks, Blender, Keyshot, or similar systems)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Industrial Design or related design discipline preferred
  • Experience in the medical device industry or other regulated environments.

Travel Percentage: 20%
