Laurel’s Mission to Return Time:

We’re a team that is connected by time. Life has taught us its true value and finite nature. We value every minute and are on a mission to return time. And we live and breathe that mission in everything we do — from how we build our product that saves our customers time to how we operate as a company.

Come work with a team that’s intelligent yet humble, visionary yet gets things done. A team that’s only getting started at cracking a problem that affects every person who uses a screen to work.

Come build a company that will stand the test of time as we look to understand time itself.

We all waste a staggering amount of time at work (~33%) because we have no idea where we are spending it. Worse yet, we continue to operate in a factory model that simply does not apply to creative work. Our big bet is that by understanding time, we’ll be able to move away from it as a unit of value. In the future knowledge economy (lawyers, accountants, engineers), contributions will be assessed on value added, not the underlying time spent adding it.

Ambitious mission to say the least, so where are we starting? We have created a new market category called Time Automation that automates the timekeeping process for professionals and allows us to collect time data at scale. Before Laurel, professionals had to manually record every six minutes of their day into antiquated timekeeping software. Not anymore. We are moving away from a world in which humans tell a machine what they did at work, to our version of the world in which the machine tells the human.

We are looking for individuals who share our passion of returning time. Come join us on our journey as we spend time solving time.  It will be a long road but if we’re even half right, we’ll change the way work is measured and performed forever.

Laurel is looking for a Senior Product Marketer to bolster our efforts in creating and dominating the category of AI Time. AI is fundamentally changing the nature of work, and Laurel stands at the forefront of a revolution, helping organizations turn time into a profit center, and sanctifying the time of millions of knowledge workers.

The candidate who will succeed in this role will balance strategic thinking with relentless execution. You thrive in fast-paced, early-stage environments, and understand how to prioritize the demands of building a product-marketing function for highest leverage.

Responsibilities

  • Influence messaging and positioning. We’re creating the category of AI Time, and are educating the market on the ways Laurel helps organizations turn time into profit. You’ll partner with leadership to help determine how we position ourselves in the market, define value propositions, and the language we use in internal and external communications.
  • Enable our go-to-market team. Support our sales and customer success teams. Identify and deliver assets, programs, and campaigns to accelerate opportunities. Drive case studies, competitive research, and support partnership opportunities.
  • Lead product launches. Our product team moves fast, and we want to ensure customers are adopting new features. You will strategize our public marketing launches, create materials for our sales team, and create blog posts and any other supporting content to help successfully take new features to market. You also know that a product launch is just the beginning and will support the continued adoption of features as our team improves them.
  • Develop and product marketing campaigns to accelerate deal velocity and nurture new leads. Develop these multi-channel campaigns in partnership with Demand Marketing.
  • Partner with our Product team. You'll contribute to our product strategy, how we prioritize features, and be a constant advocate for our customers.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in product marketing in B2B SaaS, with a proven ability to operate in high-growth, fast-paced startup environments
  • Demonstrated success enabling sales teams, and driving adoption with speed and impact
  • Exceptional ability to learn quickly, pivot effectively, and deliver high-quality work on tight timelines
  • Proven success with product launches and marketing initiatives in a zero-to-one environment
  • Strong storytelling skills, with a clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communication style
