Join us as a Senior BI Engineer, where you'll lead the creation and optimization of our data architecture ETL processes and reporting that will directly impact our business strategy. Collaborate the development teams and with Product to design efficient data workflows, uncover valuable insights, and maintain data accuracy in a forward-thinking and supportive environment.

Here’s what you’ll do

  • You’ll be accountable for the discovery, planning, designing, implementation, and support of projects in the BI domain (data architecture, data warehouse, ETL, reporting, data analysis).
  • Together with your team, drive the implementation of our new BI infrastructure.
  • Proactively implement better ways to find and deliver business-critical data, working together with engineering, product, and business teams.
  • Be a champion for data-driven insights and decision-making in the company.
  • Constantly find a way to optimize queries, processes and infrastructure.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting and anomaly detection rules to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Here’s what you need to be successful in this role

  • Proven experience in Business Intelligence (BI), demonstrating ownership and responsibility across multiple projects or product examples.
  • Strong experience with ETL processes (either batch processing or streaming).
  • Knowledge of how to leverage data services on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, and similar services (tools like AWS Redshift & QuickSight).
  • Advanced querying skills for both relational and non-relational databases.
  • Skills to design and build solid and performant BI infrastructure, processes, and solutions.
  • The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, initiative in identifying requirements and opportunities for improvement, and the ability to drive results independently.
  • Project management experience with this type of project is a plus.
  • Be responsible, proactive and driven by organizational success.
  • Believe that you and your team should have a deep understanding of organizational goals and user requirements to ensure that data makes a difference!
  • Excellent English (in both oral and written).

 

A plus is, but not mandatory, if you have some experience with:

  • “Big data” size datasets (billions of rows and TB of data).
  • Good proficiency in a programming languages (e.g. Python).
