Position Overview

We are seeking a Paralegal with project management experience to join our legal team and support our M&A and integration activities. We are a visible, impactful and close-knit team that has closed numerous acquisitions and strategic investments in the past decade and has led legal integrations of acquired companies across the globe. You will report to the Senior Paralegal, M&A, Integration and Corporate Governance, and this position is hybrid, working out of our Denver, Portland, or San Francisco office.

Responsibilities

  • Support our M&A activities, including acquisitions and divestitures, equity investments, joint ventures, mergers and other strategic transactions, escrow releases, and all aspects of post-closing integrations

  • Work, and coordinate, with multiple teams in all stages of strategic transactions, including, supporting deal processes, due diligence, closings, and integrations

  • Create continuous improvements, scalability and operational excellence in deal and integration processes and execution

  • Help develop, implement, and continually improve playbooks, processes and procedures and to guide more efficient processes for the M&A and integration teams

  • Assist members of the corporate legal team on other high priority tasks and matters, including financing, executive compensation and sustainability initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of relevant Paralegal experience working on M&A and / or integration transactions

  • Combination of M&A work at a law firm with 1 or more years of in-house technology company experience preferred

  • Prior experience working on technology and cross-border transactions, including supporting deal execution, investments, and/or integration phase processes preferred

  • Project management skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Team player who wants to both teach and learn, takes initiative, and can quickly pivot tasks throughout the day

  • Ability to build positive relationships with other teams (within Legal and other divisions) to perform duties and achieve goals

  • Proactive, driven, adaptable person who can prioritize and manage multiple projects

  • Extremely detail-oriented, work under pressure and strong organizational skills; strong sense of accountability and inclusivity

  • Willingness to travel 2-5 times per year

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $80,600 and $139,150. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
