Main Responsibilities

1. Drive End-to-End Laboratory Optimization

• Propose customized, data-driven laboratory systems by analyzing unique customer environments at the earliest stage.
• Design optimal configurations and spatial layouts prior to deployment to align with customer operational goals.
• Partner with customers post-setup to optimize physical workflows and ensure maximum operational stability.

2. Lead Market Standards & Value Creation

• Research and establish new consulting packages and frameworks to position Roche as an industry pioneer.
• Identify hidden customer needs to deliver sustainable healthcare innovation and maximize business win rates.
• Transform intangible consulting activities into tangible data to set benchmarks for automation tracking.

3. Stakeholder Communication & CA Collaboration

• Align local consulting practices with Global and APAC regional lab consulting teams (Lab 1.0).
• Coordinate closely with related departments to provide professional, data-backed product support.
• Collaborate intensely with CA (Customer Area) Sales/Marketing and Agile teams to streamline automation proposals.

4. Continuous Skill-Up as a Lab Operations Expert

• Upskill consulting capabilities to position oneself as a premier laboratory operations expert in the IVD market.
• Acquire a profound, structured understanding of complex hospital laboratory workflows and total ecosystems.
• Apply consultative and solution-oriented thinking to eliminate operational waste and maximize customer success.

Requirements

1. Core Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher (Biomedical Science/Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or healthcare-related preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in the IVD industry, hospital laboratory environments, clinical lab operations, or the healthcare sector.
• Analytical & Tech Skills: Strong data analysis skills with high proficiency in MS Office (Excel/PPT) and a proactive aptitude for utilizing AI productivity tools.
• Communication: Professional working proficiency in English (verbal/written) with the ability to manage both local and global stakeholders.

2. Preferred Competencies

• Consulting & Workflow: Experience in healthcare/laboratory consulting, strategic planning, or workflow optimization (Lean Six Sigma understanding preferred).
• Growth Mindset & Adaptability: High learning agility and resilience to take risks, try new initiatives, and adapt quickly to change.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to build networks and collaborate effectively within integrated, cross-functional teams.
