<title>About the role</title>

<text>The Category Specialist will be responsible for following our product assortment strategy, sourcing the exact quantity at the best possible price while ensuring we maximize consumer experience, while constantly growing our revenue and increasing our suppliers engagement and sales.

In this role you'll own and improve commercial performance and quality metrics.</text>

  • <point>Defines commercial plans for their categories, including clear tactics for KPI realisation. Has a hand on approach on selection, understands gaps vs market and works closely with market data. Knows main trends and changes in consumer behaviour.</point>

  • <point>Support with the Bolt Market pricing strategy development and profitability of the business.</point>

  • <point>Conduct market research and analyse consumer trends, competitor products, and pricing to identify opportunities and make informed decisions.</point>

  • <point>Conduct regular performance reviews of products and suppliers to ensure they meet sales and profitability targets.</point>

  • <point>Engages in commercial analysis and local commercial deep dives. Present findings, recommendations, and progress for their categories.</point>

<title>About you:</title>

  • <point>Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.</point>

  • <point>3+ years of experience in the commercial domain, ecommerce or brick and mortar. Strong negotiation skills.</point>

  • <point>Proven negotiating skills, influencing abilities and relationship management experience.</point>

  • <point>Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.</point>

  • <point>Strong analytical and quantitative skills; experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success.</point>

  • <point>Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems independently with an exceptional attention to detail.</point>
  • <point>Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.</point>

  • <point>Excellent communication skills in English and Latvian.</point>
