Job Description:

As a Manager of Portfolio Business Strategy on the Payments Product PMO team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our business success through insightful data storytelling and the development of actionable scorecards and reporting. Your ability to understand and articulate leadership's vision, coupled with your expertise in leveraging data, will empower us to make informed, impactful decisions that propel our portfolios forward. Responsible for serving as an internal consultant that evaluates emerging business development opportunities in the business. Conducts detailed analysis to identify and evaluate performance improvement opportunities. Develops and coaches teams to be able to identify, manage, and escalate risk, and effectively manage risk within the teams you oversee.

Responsibilities

  • Co-develops work plans, executes work-streams, and develops fact-based recommendations for strategic problems
  • Executes against ad-hoc Leader requests.
  • Develops a credible fact base and/or business plans to substantiate strategic recommendations
  • Serves as a thought partner to the rest of the executive team
  • Co-develops and implements strategy (ranging from broad division-wide initiatives to more targeted Business Unit specific recommendations), supports business planning, explore business development opportunities, and contribute to clear and concise presentations for leadership.
  • Drives continuous improvement through process discipline and innovation
  • Proactively identifies and acts on business opportunities and challenges. Anticipates risks and plans for contingencies.

Minimum Qualifications 

At minimum here is what you will need:

  • Bachelors degree in Arts, Business Administration and Management, Social Sciences, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in Financial Services, Management Consulting, or related experience
  • In Lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience in Financial Services, Management Consulting, or related experience

Preferred Qualifications 

If we had our say, we’d also look for the following:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration and Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in Financial Services, Management Consulting, or related experience
  • Experience with Finance business case creation and interpretation/scorecard development/financial performance reporting

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $88,500.00 to $149,300.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
