This is a non-union positionWe are seeking an Advisor to join our team in HR Data and Technology Support who will be accountable for support and ongoing maintenance of the Workday system. This position monitors and corrects data as well as functional configuration changes in Workday to ensure it is reliable and accurate for core operational groups such as Payroll, Benefits and HR Partners, and can be used optimally by client groups for decision making, reporting purposes or use in other systems or applications.

What You Will Do:
Provide functional support for HCM business processes and core configuration within Workday applying business standard procedures. This relies on having a solid functional/technical working knowledge of Workday and being able to make recommendations to clients based on this knowledge and experience.
Collaborate and support to Payroll on Workday tax, G/L accounts and table configurations ensuring system accuracy.
Maintain Workday communication configurations in dashboards and announcements
Handle and load information into Workday collaborating with different client groups to ensure business requirements are being met and that our business standards and processes are being followed.
Participate on various assignments, projects and annual cycle activities as such but not limited to annual compensation project, union ratifications, Workday release testing, Unify, M & A activity, etc.
Maintain foundational values in Workday such as Job Profile, Job Family, Job Group, Roles, Custom Organization Types, Positions, Locations, Pension values.
Manage and complete case management tickets including configuration and testing changes in the Workday SBX and production tenants.
Collaborate with all areas within Human Resources to identify areas of concern and items that need to be audited to ensure the integrity of the data within Workday.
Who You Are:
You possess a Bachelor of HR Degree or related university degree and previous experience
Minimum of 4 or more years of previous Workday and HR experience. A combination of education and experience would be considered.
Experience working in and with Workday; SAP experience would be an asset.
Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently, resourceful and highly results oriented with problem solving skills
Strong computing skills including proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Preference given to candidates with customer relations management systems like Neocase
The successful candidate (if external) will go through background checks including criminal check, education and employment verification.

Include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.
