Fully remote role with potential for up to 10% travel for plan sponsor audits.

The Sr. Clinical Consultant will lead the preparation and execution of behavioral health clinical audits with external third-party consultants. Provides clinical oversight and assists leaders with performance management. Ensures clinical excellence and improvement activities related to third party audit feedback and internal audit findings.

What you will do:

- Capitalizes on advanced clinical experience and knowledge to manage the coordination and preparation of documentation for third party audits.

- Oversees the preparation of clinicians for participation in third party audits.

- Assists leaders with performance management activities including internal documentation and call observation audits.

- Analyzes trends from audit results to determine training needs of the department, team and staff.

- Assists management with key performance indicator reports to effectively measure work area progress against management-established goals and targets.

- Develops and oversees new hire and refresher training on third party audit expectations and skill building for presentations.

- Collaborates with management across all behavioral health teams to review audit results, consulting on key recommendations to ensure clinical excellence and improvement activities.

-Acts as behavioral health clinical audit subject matter expert and as the behavioral health liaison between constituents including account management and physical health partners and the behavioral health teams.

Required Qualifications:

- 10+ years of post clinical licensure experience in behavioral health

- 10+ years experience in both mental health and substance use disorders

- 5+ years experience in managed care

- Valid unrestricted professional behavioral health clinical license to practice per state regulations in the state they reside in (one or more or equivalent is required: LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LMHC, LCMHC, LICSW, LISW, LMSW, Clinical Psychologist or RN with BH experience)

Minimum of a Master's Degree required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$80,340.00 - $173,040.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
