Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cabin Interior specialist to join our Maintenance Operations Control team within AirAsia X CAMO. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness and compliance of our aircraft fleet, with a focus on cabin maintenance and quality.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive inspections and audits of aircraft cabins, cabin interior systems, and components to identify any defects, damages, or non-conformities.

  • Collaborate with Approved Maintenance Organizations (AMOs) and vendors to coordinate the timely rectification of findings.

  • Develop and implement cabin quality assurance programs, procedures, and key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.

  • Liaise with other departments, such as Engineering, Flight Operations, and Safety.

  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, surveillance, and corrective actions in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide/arrange training and guidance to maintenance personnel on airworthiness regulations and best practices.

  • Work together with the Technical Services to stay up-to-date with evolving airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and industry standards, and ensure their timely implementation.

  • Execute cabin enhancement projects as determined by management.

  • Ensure the overall cabin interiors of the aircraft fleet are compliant and meet cosmetic standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, quality control, or airworthiness management.

  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft cabin systems, components, and airworthiness regulations.

  • Proficiency in using various inspection tools and equipment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex airworthiness issues.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Certification or training in aircraft maintenance, quality management, or CAMO is preferred.

  • Familiarity with CAAM regulations and audit requirements.

  • Familiarity with EASA and/or FAA regulations is an advantage.
