We use product design methodologies and prototyping to guide early product development, bring greater clarity to engineering goals, and develop an experience-grounded point of view.

Your day-to-day roles and responsibilities  

  • Design leadership - drive best practices in process and methodology and deliver against business and customer needs. 

  • Guide design efforts across teams, including strategy, planning, working with cross-functional partners to remove blockers and presenting effectively to senior staff and stakeholders. 

  • Leverage and extend the use of Design system, style guides, patterns and assets in the creation of design deliverables. 

  • Contribute to the wider design community, mentoring others, leveraging your strengths to help others grow. 

  • Ensure that all the organization’s output/visuals are consistent with the overall brand and strategic commitments. 

  • Collaborate with other cross-functional Design team members (Research, Content Design, Design Operations, Branding) and Business and Engineering stakeholders. 

 
Your qualifications 

  • 10-12+ years in a digital design role, with a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in user experience, product design, visual design, research, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience. 

  • Exceptional level of craft, taste, and product intuition, with an acute awareness of future trends, emerging technologies, and shifting customer expectations. 

  • Thorough command of the product design lifecycle with deep, direct experience in all skill areas and tools, including the facilitation of workshops and other collaboration techniques to drive momentum and credibility within the organization. 

  • Mastery in designing and building flexible Figma components and variants, leveraging auto layout. 

  • Demonstrates comprehensive expertise in layout, typography, hierarchy, motion, and interaction design, with meticulous attention to detail. 

  • Extensive experience in creating visual user interfaces for web and mobile applications. 

  • Profound understanding of usability principles and their application in designing sophisticated systems. 

  • Outstanding time management skills with exceptional organizational, communication, and conceptual thinking abilities. 

  • Ability to innovate and explore multiple solutions for complex design challenges. 

  • Proven leader and team player with a strong drive for collaboration across all design, product, and engineering disciplines. 

  • Demonstrated ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. 

  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 

  • A portfolio of exemplary design work is required for consideration, showcasing significant contributions to design systems. 

  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects and navigate ambiguity with confidence. 

  • Superior communication skills, capable of educating and engaging diverse audiences. 

  • Compelling storyteller who can educate as well as entertain. 

  • Demonstrated commitment to hard work, with a humble and approachable demeanor.
