As a Senior Software Engineer in the Global CRM (GCRM) team, you will be a key contributor to the architectural backbone of the Walmart Marketplace ecosystem. Your role involves designing and scaling a global platform that manages the end-to-end seller journey, from onboarding to high-velocity sales funnels. You will be responsible for leading the technical design of complex Salesforce solutions, writing high-performance Apex and LWC code, and integrating advanced AI capabilities through Agentforce. About Team:

  • The Global CRM (GCRM) team is the backbone of the Walmart Marketplace ecosystem. We are responsible for architecting and scaling the global platform that powers the end-to-end seller journey. Our mission is to build seamless, high-performance systems that manage:

  • Global Onboarding & Sales Funnels: Engineering robust pipelines to bring millions of diverse sellers onto our marketplace with minimal friction.

  • Intelligent Activation Flows: Building automated, data-driven workflows that accelerate seller time-to-market and drive early-stage success.

  • Full-Lifecycle Program Management: Designing complex tools and services that allow for the sophisticated management of seller programs at a massive global scale

  • As part of GCRM, you will tackle distributed systems challenges, optimize global integrations, and define the architectural standards that empower our marketplace to thrive in multiple international markets. We operate at the intersection of high-scale engineering and strategic business growth, ensuring that every seller on our platform has the digital infrastructure they need to succeed.

What you'll do

  • Architecture & Design: Lead the technical design of complex Salesforce solutions, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and respect platform governor limits.

  • Custom Development: Develop high-performance, reusable code using Apex (Asynchronous processing, Design Patterns) and modern LWC.

  • AI & Automation: Configure and extend Agentforce agents; build complex orchestrations using Flow Builder to replace legacy code where appropriate.

  • Integration: Design and implement secure integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Pub/Sub API, or Middleware (e.g., MuleSoft).

  • DevOps Leadership: Own the CI/CD pipeline (e.g., Copado, Gearset, or GitHub Actions) and enforce version control best practices.

  • Mentorship: Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor junior/mid-level developers to maintain high engineering standards.

  • Data Strategy: Utilize Data Cloud to unify customer streams and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders

What you'll bring

  • Languages: Advanced Apex, JavaScript (ES6+), SOQL, SOSL.

  • Frontend: Expert-level Lightning Web Components (LWC).

  • AI/Data: Hands-on experience with Agentforce (Prompt Engineering) and Salesforce Data Cloud.

  • Tools: VS Code, Salesforce CLI, Git, and Jira.

  • Platform: Deep knowledge of Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds
