Job Scope:

  • Main finance business partner for one of the entities within Malaysia.
  • Responsibilities include consolidations, annual planning and monthly P&L, free cash flow forecasts/outlook as well as financial reporting (closing task).
  • Work with local sales, project delivery and service management to ensure that all relevant information is captured and reflected in plan and forecasts (ownership of the P&L and balance sheet including cash flow)
  • Work with Finance controller on the annual budget, forecasts, monthly outlooks, and long-range strategic planning processes for the business.
  • Prepare monthly commentary to explain variances between actual results and/or budget and forecasts.
  • Analysis on regular financial reporting which highlights key business trends to support decisions on growth, investments, sourcing, and cost optimization.
  • Support all key Finance initiatives.
  • Ad hoc projects and analyses as required.

Monthly Recurring Tasks:

  • Month End Closing task- Consolidate & Submission of Flash file during WD-2 to WD+2
  • Finalized Actual number in Onestream & Signoff in system
  • Reporting Task- Top 5 Winloss file, Pricing, Velocity File
  • Analysis- Monthly Variance Analysis Bridge file (WAVE), commentary on YoY numbers
  • Country Ops Review Deck preparation
  • Outlook- P&L & Free Cash Flow (FCF) Outlook preparation, review and submission & loading in Onestream
  • Forex Hedging (upon request)
  • Country budget plan preparation (upon request)

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is a must. MBA and/or CPA/CMA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of FP&A experience with increasing level of responsibilities within a multinational corporation.
  • A high degree of proactivity, creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Ability to rigorously test assumptions and plans to minimize risk.
  • Willingness to take on new challenges.
