Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timely and successful execution of reinsurance-related projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and define project scope.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management, to ensure projects are delivered within scope and on time.
  • Track project progress, resolve issues, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, keeping stakeholders informed of any changes.
  • Manage project scope, expectations, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry requirements.
  • Oversee the integration of reinsurance systems and processes, providing guidance to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Conduct project reviews, ensuring that lessons learned are captured and applied to improve future project performance.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring their needs are addressed and fostering positive collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal standards for reinsurance projects.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience managing projects in the reinsurance industry is highly desirable.
  • Experience with DXC SICS or similar reinsurance systems is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, MS Project).
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a focus on delivering results.

Other Qualifications:

  • Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with reinsurance industry terminology, processes, and regulatory requirements is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote work environment.

Work Environment:

  • Home office setting, remote work within the United States.
  • Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $84,100 - $156,100.
