EDUCATION • Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable. CERTIFICATIONS • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. WORK EXPERIENCE • Solid experience in Program Management • Must possess proven experience with project documentation on planning, test approach, RAID log and proactive in closing open items • Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals • Understanding of MSP ticketing and Alert Management Systems • Experience in the financial services industry preferred FUNCTIONAL SKILLS • Ability to execute and troubleshoot problems • Ability to independently manage large projects required • Ability to manage project teams • Full understanding of business and technology • Ability to ensure reporting quality • Planning and process orientation • Project management methodologies • Project management tools (MS Project, Jira/Confluence) • Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) • SharePoint Project Site, VISIO • Contract Management • Project documentation including planning, testing, risks and issues management, decisions FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS • Demonstrates leadership • Communicates effectively • Identifies multiple paths to success using analytical and critical thinking as well as decision-making skills • Operates strategically to support a culture of continuous improvement and systems thinking • Makes sound business decisions in a complex work environment • Collaborates with other business functions and divisions to advance business objectives • Is flexible, decisive, and able to establish support from leadership • Monitors industry trends and best practices and applies insights to advance the business • Exhibits and fosters optimism, resilience, flexibility, and openness to others' ideas • Inspires innovation and values learning as a lifelong professional objective • Leads by example, engaging inclusively and with intent • Always acts with integrity • Iterative problem-solving • Serving as a trusted advisor • Ability to articulate complex issues concisely • Excellent organizational skills. Must be detail oriented and experienced with reporting to senior management • Good consensus builder; able to drive large scale initiatives • Ability to work cross organizations and through obstacles RESPONSIBILITIES • You will • Take lead responsibility on large projects • Drive planning at the various organizational levels to ensure projects are on track/resourced • Establish project / program governance and communication with stakeholders • Ensure timetable and deliverable schedules are understood and communicated • Proactively manage dependencies, coordinate across teams to resolve issues and mitigate risks • Contribute to executive level updates on strategy, budget, project delivery, controls, risks, etc. • Organize required reporting for business and technology management review sessions • Manage project financial and resource forecasting • Identify and challenge project financials and deliverables to ensure efficient and accurate execution • Ensure project transparency through reporting and updates • Facilitate the documentation of business requirement and testing • Manage project changes • Manage the establishment of vendor and 3rd party contractsWe are open to considering flexible working requests in line with organisational requirements.
