Citibank, N.A. seeks a Digital Software Engineer Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.
Duties: Apply expertise in application development methodologies and standards for program analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. Support situations in which end user consultation is required to identify system function specifications and incorporate them into overall system design and delivery. Utilize comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within technology to achieve technological objectives. Create plans that have a clear path to delivery. Solve for dependencies between agile and waterfall delivery efforts. Understand engineering best practices and apply best practices to the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Remain accountable for design reviews for Citi Agile and POR projects as well as Code Reviews for NGA projects. Provide architectural guidance to the SDE’s based on best practices, and in alignment with Chief Technology Office guidelines and platforms. Elaborate, promote, and communicate design patterns applicable to Next Gen Architectures and solutions. Serve as part of the design review board that will focus on the design process, search for generic patterns, and share best practices across the organization. Assist in planning application development assignments involving large budgets and cross-functional projects, and effectively understand and analyze both technical and business risks and impacts. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering or a related technical field, and 7 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Computer Programmer, Technical Architect, IT Analyst or related position involving studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes to develop software solutions. 7 years of experience must include: Utilizing cloud technologies including private cloud (OpenShift and Pivotal Cloud Foundry) and public cloud (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure); Utilizing databases MongoDB, Oracle, and MySQL; Programming languages Spring Boot, Microservices, and Core Java; Caching products GemFire and Redis Cache; and Utilizing application and monitoring tools including AppDynamics and Splunk. 4 years of experience must include: Working with management products CyberArk and Hashicorp.
