Position Purpose: Learn about various processes and functions within the Managed Care industry and develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the business.

• Learn various job functions within the Managed Care industry and explore various career opportunities
• Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projects
• Research various legal, regulatory, and other topics within functional area and industry
• Attend training and development presentations to enhance professional competencies

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and programming processes that contribute to our health benefit ratio.
• Utilize quantitative statical knowledge and models to help drive team efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance existing processes.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge-sharing efforts within the team.
• Work on automation to give internal customers a better experience in multiple areas.

Qualifications:

• Looking for students interested in a career within Data Science with AI, SAS, SQL, Python exposure!
• Help with responsibilities as it relates to AI Analytics and Automation.
• Skills/Experience: Prior internship with exposure to AI, SAS, SQL, and Python.
• Must be a team player with a "go-getter" mentality, self-starter with a learning mentality.
• Ability to evaluate different use cases and what value they can bring to make an analytical decision that is best for the team.

Experience/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.

The salary range is: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, degree program, degree level, number of years of participation in the internship program, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
