Job Description
DUTIES: Plan and design new software and web applications; maintain Kubernetes cluster nodes; use Elastic; deploy and integrate software using Ansible and Concourse; use Portworx for data-services management; use storage hardware technologies, including HP Apollo 4500 Storage server and components; manage MySQL databases; work with AWS; perform network troubleshooting; write scripts using Python; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; design new software and web applications; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications and roll-outs of software releases; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; and work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience deploying and integrating software using Ansible; using storage hardware technologies, including HP Apollo 4500 Storage server and components; managing MySQL databases; and performing network troubleshooting; of which one (1) year includes writing scripts using Python.

SALARY: $135,283.00 to $150,000.00 per year
