Enterprise Excellence (EE) is a group within the Chief Operating Office (COO) organization that designs solutions to enhance transparency, empowers Operations and Functions to improve processes and evolves the organization through continuous improvement and simplification. The organization is responsible for defining, deploying, and driving alignment and progress against a firm-wide framework that reduces operational risk, standardizes workforce optimization, and improves process health.

The BP&A Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs/analyzes complex reports to satisfy management requirements
  • Deals with complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact
  • Uses broad discretion in developing solutions for broad based business reporting issues
  • Leads simplification/reengineering efforts in business's methodology, strategy, and organizational goals
  • Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions
  • Influences strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services that have direct impact on the business
  • Persuades and influences others through developed communication and diplomacy skills with colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how an area and others collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives
  • Applies/demonstrates advanced understanding of processes, procedures, and policies for area supported
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Manages resource allocation and leads the work within a team/project to develop solutions for issues reported
  • Acts as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level personnel in the business processes and procedures of area supported
  • Potential to own responsibility for resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years relevant experience
  • Analytical background with the ability to consume complex data sets and quickly assess information for consumption with stakeholders
  • Prior coding experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python along with familiarity with data environments is a plus
  • Familiarity with Tableau and/or reporting platforms.
  • Advanced level MS Office Skills with Excel, PowerPoint, and suite of products.
  • Breadth of knowledge of the business and organization. Well-developed working knowledge of the business and the upstream and downstream influences.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide program updates at the senior level.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills Ability to develop client solutions with the ability to identify and implement effective process re-engineering improvements through the lens of the stakeholder.
  • Intermediate to exceptionally strong interpersonal & relationship-building skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$87,600.00 - $131,400.00
