Description

Graham Capital Management, L.P. is seeking a hands-on IT Systems Engineer to join our Technology Services team in Rowayton, CT.  This role provides operational support for server infrastructure and participates in projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Management of operational tasks for 400+ Microsoft Windows server environment.
  • Troubleshooting server performance, security permissions, and server hardware
  • Building and managing server instances both virtual and hardware
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations
  • Assist with operational Linux server support
  • Disaster recovery planning and project work
  • Provide technical support to End User Support team for escalated tickets
  • Weekend or off-hour work as necessary

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
  • 7+ years of relevant experience, which includes managing Windows Servers in a production server environment
  • In-depth technical knowledge of Microsoft technologies and server hardware (HP/Dell/Cisco)
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, DNS, GPO Management
  • 4+ years scripting or PowerShell knowledge
  • 4+ years VMware vSphere knowledge, VCP preferred
  • 2+ years AWS/Azure knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Financial Services industry experience is desired
  • Linux experience is desired (Red Hat preferred)

Our current hybrid work arrangement requires that all employees commute into our office Mondays through Thursdays, with the option to work remotely on Fridays. This individual may be required to work outside normal business hours to install and/or upgrade equipment.

Base Salary Range

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $180,000. The anticipated range is based on information as of the time this post was generated. The applicable annual base salary or hourly rate paid to a successful applicant will be determined based on multiple factors, including without limitation the nature and extent of prior experience, skills, and qualifications.

Base salary or rate does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
