The Chapter Lead, Product Marketing (Home Buying) (Executive Manager) role sits in the Consumer Marketing team, reporting directly to the Centre of Excellence (CoE) Lead RBS Marketing and Chapter Area Lead Consumer Marketing. The team is fast paced with multiple internal and external stakeholders. The culture is built on energy, pace, curiosity, responsibility and commitment.

Do work that matters

  • Build and deliver the marketing strategy for the Home Buying business to deliver on business and customer goals, with a focus on customer acquisition, engagement and retention

  • Ensure customer insights are embedded into the plans through relevant and simple Customer Value Proposition, timely and compelling communications

  • Develop through-the-line marketing campaigns - including performance layer advertising leveraging AdTech investment

  • Think Group wide - identify and deliver against Multi-Brand opportunities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key senior internal and external stakeholders, including marketing, agencies, product segment, data, technology, risk, compliance and operations teams

  • Create transparency within the chapter, translating goals into objectives, key results and quarterly initiatives, following an agile methodology of delivery.

  • Lead and develop a team of rounded marketing professionals to ensure efficient, timely and effective communications

  • Drive innovation into the business through opportunities from within the marketing ecosystem

We’re interested in hearing from people who can demonstrate:

  • Deep knowledge of all facets of the Home Buying business

  • Proven experience (9+ years) in marketing

  • Passion and proven capability in using data and insights to drive marketing plans

  • Demonstrated full funnel marketing experience – including performance advertising/AdTech

  • Proven experience of strong collaboration with all elements of the value chain in retail banking, including product / distribution / digital etc

  • Experience in working in agile highly desirable

  • Multi-Brand experience valued.
