The Business Marketing Director will work with senior leaders and subject matter experts to develop and implement engaging, measurable global marketing strategies aligned with IQVIA’s Real World Solutions (RWS) business goals.

The successful candidate will have a strong life science background including life science marketing experience, outstanding writing skills, strong visual and verbal communication skills, and a passion for creativity and innovation. We are looking for a strong team player with the ability to build effective working groups.
 

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Management and Innovation

• Serve as the Marketing partner to senior sales and operations leaders to align on priorities, strategies, and messaging.
• Become the subject matter expert for specific business areas.
• Utilize customer insights to guide Marketing programming.
• Monitor and analyze internal and external data, market research and customer insights to develop business insights, implications, and recommendations for action.
• Develop, implement, and measure Marketing plans for assigned areas within the RWS organization.
• Develop value propositions and messaging; support internal roll-out and ensure inclusion of messages throughout marketing material.
• Effectively design digital campaigns to amplify messages and drive high-quality Marketing Qualified Leads.

• Organizational impact
  • Manage team members to ensure successful marketing program delivery and career growth.
  • Support and drive collaboration between Business Leaders, Inside Sales, Sales to ensure seamless implementation of customer-centric marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications and Marketing teams across IQVIA.
• Operational Management
  • Manage project budgets.
  • Manage contractors/vendors/agencies to deliver on-brand, high quality deliverables at appropriate budgets.  

Qualifications

• Marketing experience - our ideal candidate will have
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or business. 
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience developing successful Marketing plans for the life sciences.
  • Preferred life sciences, CRO, or life sciences agency experience. 
  • Strong digital Marketing experience with a drive to track and report ROI.
  • Go-to-market experience with demonstrated collaboration with sales.
  • Track record of event management and strategic planning.
• Leadership
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to gather input from business and technical subject matter experts.
  • Ability to build solid cross-functional relationships and work with all levels within an organization.
  • Self-starter with a “take charge” attitude and the ability to work with minimal direction.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment with a level of ambiguity.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
