Job Summary -Supervises a team of Accounts Payable Associates, Specialists, and Coordinators. Ensures all invoices are paid in a timely manner and discounts are properly claimed.  Oversees analyses that support the research and closure of Accounts Payable issues. Collaborates with Supplier Relations, Procurement, Contracts, Accounts Payable, Financial Accounting, and Suppliers to resolve or prevent issues.

Core Responsibilities

  • Identifies and implements improvements in Accounts Payable processes for increased efficiency ensuring the quality, integrity and commitment is not compromised.

  • Responsible for the preparation of analytical schedules of monthly/quarterly and year-end Accounts Payable for management team and as required for audit purposes.

  • Successfully engages cross functionally to resolve issues.

  • Ensures Accounts Payable compliance with Internal Controls as defined by A/P management and Internal Audit.

  • Leads special projects, leveraging project management skills, and assumes other leadership roles to support the Accounts Payable Manager.

  • Is able to shift priorities as needed to resolve urgent vendor account issues or business issues.

Qualifying Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a focus in business or accounting required.

  • Three to five years of direct Accounts Payables experience required.

  • Three or more years of supervisory experience strongly preferred.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word experience

  • Experience using Oracle, SAP, JDE and/or Workday Financials systems experience.

*This position is remote, but the hours needed must be worked during Pacific time zone. *
