Job Description

• Lead, supervise, and provide guidance to the accounts team, ensuring the smooth running of the department and the timely and accurate execution of all accounting and tax-related tasks
• Review local regulatory reports (MAS notices, Banking Acts, Companies Acts, Accounting Standards, Income Tax, and GST regulations) to ensure compliance
• Analyze and verify financial, regulatory, and management reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
• Participate in forecasting, budget planning, and reporting processes
• Develop and implement new procedures and workflows to accommodate changes in regulations and accounting standards, including updates to the accounting manual
• Coordinate and liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents, and consultants for year-end closing of accounts, income tax return preparation, and other project-related duties

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Possession of ACCA or CIMA certification is a strong advantage
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Financial Banking or Auditing, with preferably at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
