About the Role: 

The Strategic Programs Director will play a critical role in overseeing the delivery of strategic initiatives within our services division. This senior leadership position requires a highly experienced professional with a strong background in management consulting, facilitation, negotiation, project/program management, partnership development, and strategic planning preferably in the cybersecurity software and services space. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex programs, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering results in a fast-paced, outcomes focused, regulated environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and oversee the strategic direction, planning, and execution of key programs and projects within the services division which includes professional consulting services, incident response/DFIR, advisory, assessment, training/education, and managed services functions.

  • Develop and implement program management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of strategic programs, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align program goals with the company’s strategic objectives and business priorities.

  • Oversee the management of budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure programs are delivered on time and within scope.

  • Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues associated with programs, implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams, to ensure program alignment and stakeholder satisfaction.

  • Provide regular status updates, reports, and briefings to executive leadership and other stakeholders.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of project managers and program coordinators.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of program management practices.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in managing large-scale information technology or cybersecurity programs, with a strong emphasis on strategic program management.

  • Certified by a major project management body such as PMI (Project Management Professional - PMP) or PRINCE2.

  • Proven expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with proficiency in tools such as JIRA.

  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity practices, especially within regulated environments.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions with limited data.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver technical projects successfully and manage multiple programs simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in managing budgets, contracts, and acquisition activities.

  • Ability to thrive in a matrix organizational structure and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM).

  • Experience in a senior leadership role within the cybersecurity industry.

  • Knowledge of emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $150,000 - $240,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
