McKesson is hiring a Sr. HR Business Partner (HRBP)

 

The Sr. HR Business Partner provides/develops strategy and direction on a broad range of strategic HR services to the McKesson PSaS (Pharma Solutions & Services) Distribution Experience Leadership team. The Sr. HRBP will work closely with multiple senior leaders to assess, anticipate, facilitate and inspire organizational and people related strategies.  The individual must operate as a strong collaborator and consultant, leveraging relationship skills and business expertise, and provide solutions and recommendations to align, enable, and accelerate both short and long-term business/change objectives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leadership: Collaborate with senior leaders to drive the people agenda and align HR programs and operations with business objectives.

  • Integration and influence: Ensure integration of strategy and solutions within the business, and partner with HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and Shared Services to deliver effective HR initiatives.

  • Leadership coaching: Coach senior leaders to enhance leadership abilities, improve team dynamics, and support performance management.

  • Innovative HR practices: Provide innovative and integrated HR solutions to address critical business issues.

  • Talent and culture discussions: Facilitate discussions on talent management and organizational culture to drive future-focused strategies.

  • Problem-solving and change execution: Act as a problem-solving partner to the business, develop change management capabilities, and drive execution of business objectives.

  • Collaboration and data-driven insights: Collaborate with other HRBPs, CoEs, and Shared Services to drive outcomes and bring data, analytics, benchmarks, and industry knowledge to business discussions and recommendations.

 

Critical Skills:

  • Human Resources experience: Minimum of 7 years of HR experience, preferably in a large, high execution organization.

  • Experience supporting leadership within Distribution Centers or related operational environments, such as supply chain management, logistics, or warehouse operations. This includes a deep understanding of the unique challenges and dynamics of distribution operations, managing a geographically dispersed workforce, and optimizing efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

  • This role requires a strong HR professional with experience in supporting senior leaders, driving strategic HR initiatives, and managing change in a complex organization. Strong communication, consulting, and analytical skills are essential to succeed in this role.

  • Experience with a mix of supply chain and Corporate leadership support is an added plus.

  • Complex organization navigation: Ability to navigate and influence within a complex, matrixed organization.

  • Consulting and business acumen: Strong consulting skills, business and financial acumen, and comfort with data and analytics.

  • Leadership and decision-making: Track record of supporting senior leadership teams, making proactive decisions, and driving results through strong leadership skills.

  • Strategic and critical thinking: Demonstrated strategic, critical, analytical, and innovative thinking skills.

  • Change and talent management: Strong experience in change management and talent management.

  • Communication and detail orientation: Exceptional communication skills, including writing and crafting messages for various audiences, and a high level of detail orientation.

 

Additional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to bring your innovative and out of the box ideas to the team

  • HR Certification: Preferred HR certification such as SHRM or PHR.

  • Communications experience: Desired experience in communications, including writing and crafting messages for different audiences.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$104,000 - $173,300
