Job Title :- Senior Tech Business Analyst 

Location : - Bangalore

Business & Team :-

The Technology division is responsible for the world leading application of technology across every aspect of CommBank, from innovative product platforms for our customers to essential tools within our business.

The data security crew build, own and operate data security solutions across the Bank. The data loss prevention and information protection squads implement and maintain data loss prevention solutions across our endpoints, network, SaaS and communication channels to protect our sensitive data.

Impact & contribution :-

The Senior Technical Business Analyst – Data Loss Prevention works alongside the Product Owner to define the product vision and roadmap for data loss prevention solutions such as Cloud Access Security Broker and unstructured data discovery. You will be part of a squad (engineers, service managers and testers) to define the requirements and help execute the roadmap and support the products that are delivered.

Roles & Responsibilities :-

• Provide business analysis services and specialist support for the Data Security Crew.

• Gather and document information, conducts analyses of business needs through elicitation and management of business, functional and non-functional requirements.

• Liaise and maintain relationships with stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of the organisation, and to recommend solutions that enable the organisation to achieve its goal.

• Complete and oversee project work stream deliverables including quality control/sign off for area of accountability.

• Provide ongoing assistance to support teams for functionality released into production.

• Work closely with stakeholders and change management to identify impacts to business processes as a result of system or application changes.

• Identify project delivery issues and risks, assist with mitigation strategies, and escalate where necessary.

• Evaluate effectiveness of solution delivery (SDLC) tools, processes and methodologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Analyse and document business/functional processes and requirements using standard analysis methodologies and tools.

• Convert business needs into functional designs using knowledge of system capabilities, rules, and architecture.

Essential Skills :-

• Experience 8-12 Years

• Demonstrated experience working as a Technical Business Analyst.

• Experience using Jira and Confluence as well as data analysis, modelling and workflow design.

• Experience working in an Agile project environment.

• Experience working in cyber domain with good understanding of Data Loss Prevention

• Understanding the importance of controls and high-risk management in day-to-day activities with ability to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks.

• Knowledge of BABOK principles is an advantage.

• Ability to capture business requirements in a clear and concise manner and to keep the customer in mind when clarifying and questioning technical requirements.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills-ability to communicate ideas and vision effectively and with impact to business and technical teams.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills as well as ability to work well in a team.

Education Qualification:

Bachelor's degree/ master's degree in IT OR Computer science engineering.
