About the role:


As an Software Engineer Specialist, your skills will be put to the test on the front lines of cyber-crime. Information security is at the heart of fintech and you’ll help protect and secure highly-sensitive financial data for customers around the world.

What you will be doing:

  • Design, implement, and maintain custom playbooks, workflows, scripts, and integrations
  • Integrate the SOAR platform with various security tools and third-party applications to create an automated security ecosystem.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and automation workflows using languages such as Python, PowerShell, etc.
  • Create reusable automation to improve efficiency and development times.
  • Continually review existing automations for improvement opportunities.
  • Provide comprehensive documentation for playbooks, integrations, and workflows.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.


What you will need:

  • Strong programming skills in scripting languages, specifically Python
  • Experience with SOAR platforms is preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving and communications skills
  • Basic to intermediate verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization
  • Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees and/or clients
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.


Added bonus if you have:

  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, incident response procedures, and security toolsets.
  • Knowledge of network and security technologies.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $117,620.00 - $197,580.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
