About This Role

As we’re growing to become the biggest and most loved brand, we are looking for an People and Culture Intern to support the team in bringing in new talents and maintaining an excellent workplace culture.

Reporting to the People Experience Lead, the successful candidate will work on high impact projects across different areas across the full spectrum on the employee lifecycle.

Ideally, you should possess superior analytical skills, energy, drive and attention to details. S/ he will be expected to oversee and manage the employee onboarding and offboarding process. S/he will also be looking at ways to optimize and automate the employee lifecycle.

This is an internship with a minimum duration of 6 months. This is a group level role based in Singapore.

As a People & Culture Intern, your key objectives will be to:

Onboarding Support:

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of the onboarding program for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Provide administrative support in preparing onboarding materials and assisting new employees during their orientation.

HR Engagement and Communications: 

  • Collaborate with the HR team to contribute to engagement and communications initiatives, including company-wide meetings, town halls, newsletters, and other events that foster employee engagement and communication.
  • Help draft and distribute internal HR communications, ensuring that employees are well-informed about HR policies, benefits, and programs.
  • Intranet Management: - Maintain and update the company intranet by regularly refreshing HR content, policies, and resources such as the Employee Handbook.
  • Ensure that the intranet serves as an accessible and organized platform for employees to find HR-related information

Cross-Team Collaboration:

  • Actively seek opportunities to promote cross-team collaboration by proposing and implementing creative ideas and activities that encourage knowledge sharing and teamwork across various departments.
  • Foster an inclusive and collaborative work environment that promotes innovation and synergy.

Culture and Values: 

  • Contribute to the conceptualization and execution of internal initiatives aimed at championing the company's culture and core values.
  • Work closely with HR to organize events, recognition programs, and activities that reinforce a positive and inclusive company culture.

Offboarding Administration:

  • Manage offboarding administrative tasks, including scheduling exit interviews, maintaining an exit calendar, sending acknowledgment of resignations, and reviewing offboarding checklists.
  • Ensure a smooth and respectful departure process for departing employees.

Daily HR Administration:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to employee queries and requests, providing accurate information and assistance.
  • Assist in managing insurance registrations and visa applications, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. 

 

Job Requirements:

We are looking for passionate individuals who:

  • Strong aptitude for problem-solving and ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Must be self-motivated and demonstrate strong initiative
  • Open-minded and has high learning aptitude.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience with designs and video editing skills are a bonus but not mandatory
