Summary

NP Private Wealth is Neuberger Berman’s direct-to-client wealth and investment management business. Managing $70b+ in client assets across 40+ seasoned wealth and investment teams, with access to a deep breadth of customized investment solutions, the platform is truly unique in the industry. In support of continued growth and innovation, the business has embarked on a multi-year strategic plan to elevate all aspects of the client experience, from expanding advisory services, recruiting new talent, and bolstering investment, operations, and technology capabilities.

The VP of Strategy & Execution will lead change management projects of strategic priority to Private Wealth. Central to this will be understanding business objectives driving change and working with key stakeholders to structure and execute thoughtful and realistic implementation plans. Examples of such initiatives include team mergers, business model conversions, product launches, book transitions, and any other initiatives involving complexity, multiple participants, a strategic mindset, and hopefully, creativity.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of industry experience.
  • Experience in asset or wealth management is strongly preferred.
  • A deep understanding of the asset and wealth management industry, including pricing and incentive structures, investment products, and to some degree operational and technology infrastructure.
  • A track record of meeting complex initiatives head-on and seeing them to fruition is critical.
  • Intellectual curiosity, the capacity to handle a full workload, and a passion for learning.

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $120,000-$150,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
