We are seeking an exceptional leader to drive Go-to-Market Operations for our Corporates Customer Segment within Thomson Reuters. As a Senior Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational strategy to deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive revenue growth, and enhance operational efficiency. You will partner closely with Sales Operations, Operations & Technology and other business functions and stakeholders to optimize day-to-day operations across all Corporates subsegments.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Senior Director, Go-to-Market Operations, you will:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Go-to-Market Operations strategy aligned with the Corporates Customer Segment's business objectives and informed by industry standards, ensuring seamless integration with the roadmaps and initiatives of other business functions such as Commercial Excellence and Operations & Technology.
  • Leverage feedback from the Corporates segment to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and prioritize these opportunities to create a Go-to-Market Operations roadmap and backlog.
  • Lead a high-performing team of operations professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure exceptional performance and growth.
  • Design, implement, and maintain operational processes, systems, and tools to support the sales cycle, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Technology, to ensure alignment and effective execution of go-to-market strategies.
  • Drive standardization and best practices across all Corporates subsegments, identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and increased productivity.
  • Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure operational effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation, experimentation, and calculated risk-taking to stay ahead of industry trends and customer needs.
  • Ensure operational compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and Thomson Reuters' policies and procedures.

Measures of Success:

  • Successful implementation of Go-to-Market Operations strategy, resulting in improved customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and increased operational efficiency.
  • Achievement of KPIs and metrics, including sales cycle duration, customer engagement metrics, and revenue growth targets.
  • Effective collaboration and alignment with Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Successful development and implementation of process improvements, cost savings initiatives, and productivity enhancements.
  • High-performing team with strong morale, engagement, and retention rates.
  • Positive feedback from customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders on operational improvements and enhanced customer experiences.

About You 

You’re a fit for the role of Senior Director, Go-to-Market Operations, if your background includes: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in sales operations, go-to-market strategy, or a similar role within a B2B environment.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence, process improvements, and revenue growth in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales operations, customer engagement strategies, and revenue growth drivers.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making and KPI development.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales automation tools, and operational metrics and analytics.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the Corporates Customer Segment and Thomson Reuters' business objectives.
