In this role, you’re expected to:

•  Loan Origination & Lifecycle Management: Contribute to the build and development of the team supporting large, complex syndicated and bilateral loans across various sectors (corporate, commercial, real estate, structured lending, trade).
• Process and Technology Implementation: Assist in creating processes, standards, procedures, controls, and training for transaction management, and aid in the design, testing, and rollout of relevant technology.
• Data Quality and Control Assurance: Ensure that the quality of data, controls, and processes meet internal policies and regulatory requirements/expectations, and define/implement operational metrics for end-to-end transparency.
• Transaction Coordination & Troubleshooting: Actively manage and maintain a deal closing pipeline, coordinating and closing loan transactions/lifecycle events, capturing data, storing documentation, and troubleshooting issues.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience in a related field.
• Communication & Organizational Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage priorities independently.
• Technical Proficiency: High proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft programs, with familiarity with Tableau or other visualization tools, and experience with Loan IQ or similar transaction capture tools.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Developed analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Client Relationship Skills: Demonstrated client relationship and solution skills.
