Your Role: Own the Challenge


In this role, you will be responsible for local import and export operations. Each day, you will oversee and monitor the performance of customs brokers. You will also demonstrate your expertise by ensuring the smooth execution of trade and customs activities within the local unit, including documentation management and compliance with applicable regulations.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid.


Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.

This role contributes directly to Supply Chain performance and on‑time deliveries for customers in the Robotics Logistics area, supporting Transportation activities for Mexico and the US. Main stakeholders include EDP, Projects, Product, and Service teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the point of contact for customs brokers when clarification is needed (e.g., product valuation or classification).
  • Audit customs brokers to ensure accuracy in customs entries, invoicing, and documentation archiving.
  • Manage required documentation and online forms to ensure efficient, cost‑effective, and compliant import/export operations.
  • Maintain and share up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant import/export laws, procedures, tariffs, duties, licenses, and restrictions.


Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in transportation and customs.
  • Experience with SAP, TMS, logistics strategy, and trade & customs within the automotive or process automation industries.
  • Knowledge of domestic and international logistics strategies.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Interest in process improvement, curiosity, customer‑focused service, and strong teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, International Trade, Logistics Engineering, International Markets, or a related field.
