We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Parts Order Analyst (2nd Shift) in Arvin, CA.

Job Summary:

  • The Parts Order Analyst (2nd Shift) you will serve as the primary dealer, customer, subsidiary, etc., contact for all Parts Distribution order matters; or acquires knowledge to analyze, interpret and communicate accurate and timely technical information to answer inquiries from dealers and customers.

Additional Info:

  • This role is located in Arvin, CA and does not offer relocation
  • This role is 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2pm-10:30pm
  • This role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules

What You Will Do:

  • Analyzes orders, correspondence and documents to assure compliance with company procedures and when applicable foreign country restrictions. 
  • Communicates and collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure efficient parts processes. 
  • Assists in day-to-day operational issues and in prioritizing daily workflow for office and storeroom operations. 
  • Participates in scheduling production and delivery processes in accordance with current productivity and cost efficiency standards. 
     

What You Have (Required Skills):

  • Planning: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational, tactical and strategic planning in support of the overall business plan. Anticipates and adapts to plan changes. Monitors progress of work against plan as required to meet objectives. Reports variances and makes agreed-upon corrections.  
  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives. Examines a specific problem and understands the perspective of each involved stakeholder. Develops alternative techniques for assessing accuracy and relevance of information. Helps to analyze risks and benefits of alternative approaches and obtain decision on resolution. 
  • Distribution Requirements Planning: Knowledge of the process, issues and considerations for systematically managing distribution of inventory for multiple plants or warehouses; ability to apply related knowledge and experience in real practice. Explains basic measurements of operational distribution performance. Describes the role of a distribution center in the supply chain. Describes the basic process of moving materials or goods. Knowledge of distributions software and systems (i.e.: ANTARES Parts Ordering and Lognet)
  • Inventory Management: Knowledge of processes and methods of inventory management; ability to effectively manage local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods. Follows processes to take stock, release inventory or return into processing; resolves discrepancies. Works with basic tasks of inventory management for a specific location. Performs the receiving, ticketing, checking in and distributing of inventory items for a specific location. 
  • Materials Handling and Management: Knowledge of material handling and management in plants; ability to perform, monitor and improve processes related to storage, transportation and handling of raw and hazardous materials. Assists in the responding of and dealing with emergency issues related to materials handling. Works with the packaging and storage of inbound or outbound materials. Performs the packing, shipping, identifying and transporting of materials. 
  • Warehouse Management: Knowledge of the policies, processes and systems of warehouse management; ability to effectively manage one or more warehouses or distribution centers. Maintains warehouse equipment and facilities. Performs basic warehousing activities such as receiving, putting away, picking, packing and shipping merchandise.

Summary Pay Range:

$23.65 - $35.47
