  • Manage 3 Owens & Minor teammates supporting PANDAC operations at 3 Duke Medial Center facilities, with a 4th facility operational on10/07/2024.
  • Coordinate schedules, maintain timecards, grant PTO and sick leave, administer coaching, encouragement, and discipline when necessary to achieve daily operational goals. 
  • Ensure product is available for clinical staff and patient acute needs to 114 operating rooms.
  • Respond to urgent requests and communicate effectively building trust and lasting relationships with clinical staff to better understand supply needs and manage supply items more effectively.
  • Communicate with the Duke team on any items discontinued or changed in anyway.
  • Represent and communicate O&M service value to Duke Medical Center leadership and respond to service requests or enhancements.
  • Print daily backorder reports to monitor and track system backorders and ensure these are mirrored on shelves using a dot system to show backorder, overstock, direct order and items not stored in the SPD areas.
  • Produce monthly summary report and biweekly or monthly backorder reports for the nurse managers in each area we manage.
  • Unload and manage PANDAC inbound orders from the O&M DC.
  • Perform daily transfers into PANDAC  website, order input into SAP (Duke’s ordering system)
  • Perform end of period counts every 4 weeks, requiring complete inventory of all PANDAC suture and endomechanical items.
  • Establish a “Life Takes Care” culture demonstrating care for patients and our customer as we provide services to Duke facilities.
