The Opportunity at Komodo Health

Komodo Health is looking for a Manager of Product Marketing, Clinical Development/HEOR to join our growing team, reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Marketing, Life Sciences.

This person will be responsible for marketing products and services aligned with Life Sciences, primarily focusing on Clinical Research and Development as well as Economic Outcomes. Key initiatives include:

  • Leading market research and insights initiatives to inform strategic decision-making and help shape product roadmap development
  • Creating differentiated and engaging customer-focused product/solution value proposition messaging 
  • Creating cohesive go-to-market strategies that align with customer needs and Komodo’s business strategy
  • Partnering with the sales and enablement teams to create and deliver targeted sales tools and training 
  • Partnering with content and integrated marketing teams to create customer-centric marketing programs
  • Partnering with performance marketing to help drive lead generation by understanding value drivers and creating multi-channel, segmented marketing programs to maximize full-funnel leads (e.g., traditional digital ad campaigns, webinars, trade shows, and events)

As a subject matter expert for the product, this person will be responsible for supporting internal and external customers and deeply understanding the market and customer dynamics.

Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have…

  • Worked closely with a cross-functional team to shape and enhance our messaging and value definition throughout various marketing and communication channels.
  • Become an expert on our products and help our internal teams meet their business objectives by developing and launching effective marketing and communications campaigns that encompass a solution-driven value proposition to the customer to drive opportunity.
  • Acted as a critical thought leader, bringing new ideas to the team while remaining customer-focused.
  • Partnered with field teams to help generate customer insights and use case studies that demonstrate the value Komodo brings throughout the customer journey.
  • Implemented, managed, and measured marketing strategy success through pipeline and revenue attribution
  • Partnered effectively with performance marketing team to facilitate demand generation efforts for the Clinical Development / HEOR segment by successfully driving Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)

What you bring to Komodo Health:

  • Marketing and product management experience of 5+ years, working in successful B2B companies in the healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in supporting, marketing, or sales in the SaaS, Pharmaceutical, or healthcare IT industries.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical trials and/or HEOR studies preferred
  • Experience in implementing a marketing plan, driving through execution with proven, measurable success.
  • Understanding of multiple marketing channels, including content creation, search engine optimization, digital marketing strategy, events, and PR to drive outcomes.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and acting as a Hands-on key person for the segment.
  • Oversee the development of thought leadership, web copy, sales aids, presentations, webinars, speaking engagements, etc.
  • A marketing orchestrator with experience leading a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders with excellent communication skills.

Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
