Lead Designer - NIKE, Inc.- Beaverton, OR. Develop, support, and implement virtual and immersive product experiences that includes a variety of different disciplines centered around environment art assets, rigging, animation, visual effects, lighting, and in engine setup. Work with the Immersive Team Lead to determine skills and knowledge development areas valuable to the team and can be applied to the team’s projects. Deliver real time immersive product experiences to consumers that push the boundaries of creativity and help Nike create the future of sport. Perform a diverse range of 3D responsibilities (i.e. animation, rigging, modeling, texturing, lighting, effects) to create and deliver immersive experiences with the team. Concept new ways to present products and storytelling elements “in engine” while collaborating with design and technology teams. Manage project resources and track project status to keep the team updated on progress. Work with peers on the Immersive team, the broader Digital Product Creation Studio and our Design partners. Work with software development and Digital Product Creation teams to assist and support in the development cycle. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY. 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, Computer Animation and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a design-related occupation. Experience must include: 

  • 3D Character/Hard Surface modeling 

  • 3D animation 

  • Character Rigging 

  • Unreal Engine  

  • Autodesk Maya 

  • 3D rendering 

  • Zbrush 

  • 3D level creation 

  • Look Development 

  • Substance 

  • Designer/Painter
